Build and modernize applications faster across any cloud or IT infrastructure with IBM's AI-powered hybrid cloud platform that includes pre-integrated data, automation, and security capabilities.
In this tutorial you will learn how to deploy IBM Cloud Pak for Data 5.2, a cloud-native, integrated and highly innovative data and AI platform invented to achieve modern innovations faster, onto the Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform running on IBM Power Systems Virtual Servers.
The Cloud Pak Deployer tool uses configurations stored in a Git repository (a GitOps approach) to fully automate the deployment of Red Hat OpenShift and IBM Cloud Paks on various cloud infrastructures. Each configuration file defines the desired end-state by defining the infrastructure, OpenShift cluster, and IBM Cloud Pak to be installed. Secrets are kept in a vault, which the Cloud Pak Deployer uses during the deployment.
