Volunteers line up to nurse Queensland's sick and injured sea turtles.
From serving up fresh seafood to scrubbing shells, volunteers from around the world are helping restore sea turtles to health before their return to the wild.
Lovely, glad these little creatures are getting the help they need A few years ago, I went to Oman to see turtles lay their eggs, and it was incredible. Hope to return someday to see hatching, too.

I have been to Cape Verde a couple of times and there is a very robust sea turtle rescue, protection and research program there. Tourists are integrated into the process and I can tell you watching a mother turtle laying and then hiding her eggs under the light of a bazillion stars is one of those life moments.
