he's just too memeable
Shaq's 'Timeout' Photo, And This Week's Other Best Memes, Ranked
Here at Digg, we try our best to cover the most important and confounding memes that come across the timeline. But the web is littered with tons of great memes that never quite hit the mainstream and instead just bounce around the weird corners of Twitter or Reddit. Enter our recurring feature, Memes, Ranked.
This week, we've got TikTokers explaining why their bedrooms are clean, people who are all fam, a particularly disturbing T-shirt and Shaq's highly memeable "Timeout" photo.
4. Clean bedroom
The meme
This "clean bedroom" meme has spread widely on TikTok, and we can see why the titillating music clip of Gucci Mane's "Truck Loaded" has sparked such high view counts.
The core of the meme is a parent asking why the bedroom of their teenage or adult child is suddenly clean, while the offspring in question offers naught but a provocative dance to imply that they plan on getting their freak on in the near future. (Just be sure to read up on some killer tips beforehand, and stay safe out there.)

3. In da clerb, we all fam
The Meme
The last episode of "Broad City" might have aired more than five years ago, but a phrase from the stoner comedy has been given a new lease of life on social media.
There's a scene in the show where the character of Ilana waves and says "heyyyyy!" to two girls in a nightclub. When Abbi asks if she knows them, Ilana replies, "no, but in da clerb, we all fam."
Now, the silly quote is being used by people (including celebrities) all over TikTok and X.

2. Temu pig shirt
The Meme
A few days ago, something truly cursed emerged on the platform once known as Twitter: an advert for a "Stylish Pig Pattern Shirt" from online marketplace Temu. The shirt — which features a smiling pig relaxing in a sauna — is almost too ugly to accurately describe with words, and everyone on the app seemed to be united in their disgust at having it relentlessly advertized on their feeds.

Those who were able to look at the image for an extended period of time, however, made some pretty funny posts about it.

1. Timeout
The Meme
ESPN reporter Adam Schefter recently shared an image from an upcoming anti-hate campaign called "Timeout," which features images of prominent athletes, including Candace Parker and Shaquille O'Neal, making a timeout sign (similar to the one used in sports like basketball). The campaign was launched because "hate is winning, and we need to change the momentum," according to Robert Kraft, the billionaire sports team owner who's spearheading it.
For the first time, sports leagues all across North America, athletic icons and rising stars are calling a #Timeout against hate. It is a campaign inspired and led by Patriots owner Robert Kraft.

Ripe for jokes, Shaq's image caught everyone's attention, and being the lovable giant that he is, it slotted in perfectly as a reaction image for a variety of made-up situations.
