"Breaking Bad" actor Raymond Cruz was arrested on Monday morning after allegedly spraying multiple women with a hose, according to police.
Cruz, 60, was arrested by the Los Angeles Police Department and charged with a battery, police said. He was released on his own recognizance, or without bail, on Monday afternoon.
The LAPD did not share any details on what happened leading up to the incident, or a motive for why Cruz would allegedly spray the women with water.
It is not clear how many women were involved, but at least one of them chose to press charges, according to police.
The actor must appear in court on Oct. 1, police said. It is not clear if he has an attorney at this time.
NBC News has reached out to a representative for Cruz for comment.
Cruz is best known for starring in the hit TV series "Breaking Bad" as Tuco Salamanca, a sadistic drug kingpin. He also appeared as Alejandro Perez on "Nip/Tuck" and as Paco on "My Name is Earl."
