There Are Just A Handful Of Countries That Pay As Good As The US, And Have A Better Cost Of Living Index
There are very few nations where the GDP per capita is better than the US, and even fewer where the cost of living is cheaper.

Redditor u/getToTheChopin used 2023 data comparing 110 nations' purchasing power, GDP per capita and cost of living to make this compelling comparison of economic realities. The data was sourced from OECD, World Bank, IMF and Eurostat, and America was given a relative index of 100. (So an index value of 120 would be 20 percent higher than the US.)

A large number of Asian and African nations can be seen clustered towards the bottom left, meaning they're places where both incomes and cost of living are low.

Bermuda, Switzerland and Norway are three nations that stick out around the US. They all have a better GDP per capita index than the US, however the cost of living is higher in Switzerland (by around 20 percent) and Bermuda (45 percent), whereas Norway's is slightly cheaper (10 percent.)

Other comparable nations the US, where the cost of living and GDP per capita are at par, include Iceland, Denmark, Ireland and Luxembourg.
