On the night of October 10, 2024, a geomagnetic storm brought the aurora borealis much further south than it normally sits.
Folks as far down as Florida reported being able to see a natural light show in the sky, so we went around social media to pick out the best examples of the northern lights here in the US. Heck, we even went out into the wild late last night to take a picture of our own.
