To find out where in the US provides the best living standards for women, WalletHub compared 182 of the country's cities on factors including unemployment rate, abortion access and the quality of women's hospitals.
Of the top 10 best cities for women, half are in California: Fremont, Huntington Beach, Irvine, San Francisco and Santa Clarita.
The highest-ranking city overall, however, is Columbia, Maryland. According to the study, women living in this area enjoy both the third-best economic and social wellbeing and the third-best healthcare and safety of any city analyzed.
