Nobody but smoothbrain conservatives care that a twice impeached felon and adjudicated sex offender who illegally attempted to steal an election is getting shot at.

But then again, is it not likely that--
a) the paranoia about Haitian immigrants' dietary preferences is bound to stoke up further paranoia about "jack-booted thugs" in the guise of United Nations peacekeeping forces marching to the Nazi lockstep and singing the Filthy Songs of Our Fathers and Their Fathers Before Them being all the more likely to increase; and
b) there may be a clear and present possibility of someone within Trump's Great Within perhaps plotting an assassination attempt as a preemptive measure to save Thy Dear and Lovely Nation from the Wrack and Ruin as the MAGA agenda so endangers (cf. the final scene in the Broderick Crawford-led film version of "All The King's Men")?
