    umm... yeah. nothing new here. these 10 tips are actually exactly what i was taught in high school, 25 years ago.

    As a hiring manager, I agree with these suggestions. In general, think about the top of your resume as a one-two punch.

    First punch: The first five words of the first line (objective) should contain the one thing you want them to see above all others. eg: "Security expert seeks ..." or "Yale grad desires ...". That first line might be your only chance to hook the reader with your best fact.

    Second punch: The most relevent recent experience that qualifies you for the job should be right under your objective statement. Not your skills, not your education. EXPERIENCE. And be precise about your impact with numbers. eg: "Cut ad spending by 30% while doubling sales." or "Trained fifteen engineers on threat modelling"
