A new Netflix documentary, "Will & Harper," follows Will Ferrell and his longtime friend Harper Steele, the former head writer of "Saturday Night Live," as they embark on a road trip across the American heartland.

When Steele came out as a trans three years ago, both friends were unsure of how, or if, their relationship would change. Ferrell suggested going on a road trip as a way to reconnect, and the result is this heartwarming film, which hits Netflix on September 27.



Since the trailer for "Will & Harper" dropped on X, it has been met with praise and heartfelt responses from people who were touched to see Ferrell — one of the biggest names in comedy — respond to their friend's transition with curiosity, empathy and kindness.
