With inflation driving up the cost of living in the US, many workers have resorted to earning a little extra money on the side. In fact, according to a report by the Bureau of Labor Statistics, around five percent of American employees have more than one job.

To determine the highest-earning side hustles for a single day of work, NetCredit analyzed Fiverr data on US-only freelance ad rates across 144 common side hustle gigs, then ranked them according to the average pay for 24-hour job completion.

Overall, marketing strategy pays the most for a day's work, at $150, on average. Website design ($130) and landing page design ($125) follow behind.

When it comes to writing side hustles, writing website content is the top-paying job, at an average of $107.50 a day.

If you're looking for an AI-related side hustle, making AI spokesperson videos will get you the most cash ($110 per day).

Of the side hustles that require no experience, the highest-earning gig is focus group work, which pays an average of $28 an hour.
