Every year, employment-focused social media platform LinkedIn ranks the 50 best companies to work for, based on eight factors: ability to advance, skills growth, company stability, external opportunity, company affinity, gender diversity, educational background and employee presence in the country.
To stand a chance at making the ranking, companies must have 5,000 or more global employees, with at least 500 in the country as of December 31, 2023.
Using LinkedIn's 2024 list, Visual Capitalist visualized the 15 best US companies to work for this year.
Five of the 15 top places to work are financial services companies, including JP Morgan Chase & Co., which ranks first on the list. Following in second and third place are Amazon and Deloitte, respectively.
Just one technology company made the cut: google's parent Alphabet, which ranks 10th on the list.
