A Working Man left me thinking: Where would Statham single-handedly taking down a human trafficking operation fall on the list of his greatest accomplishments? Obviously, the only way to get to the bottom of this mystery is to blog through it. Join me for a thought exercise that has plagued scientists since the aughts: What is the most impressive thing Jason Statham has ever done? A Quantitative Analysis.
Bald guys everywhere must love him even more than Patrick Stewart.

Glad they gave a nod to his performance in Spy, because his most impressive achievement in character is making a bespoke suit.
Susan Cooper: Where'd you get a suit?
Rick Ford: I fucking made it, didn't I?

I'm pretty sure the only film on this list I've seen is Lock, Stock, and Two Smoking Barrels but even still this was a fun read. Not changing my mind about watching any of the others though.

I've always considered the Shamen video they mention as his greatest achievement.
Also I'll note that the already quite entertaining Jet Li movie, The One (2001) is much improved by the presence of a rare Statham-with-hair (although he isn't given very much to do).

You can skip almost everything else mentioned in this article but Collateral is a very good film.

You have inspired me to go to see A Working Man at the flicks. Sadly ten minutes too late tonight, but tomorrow...
I love the Stath.

I always feel like I'm mispronouncing his name when I say it out loud.

When I first read this post, I got confused with David Strathairn. Bit of cognitive dissonance ensued...

Per Kevin Pollak, and linking to a YouTube video I have shared on MeFi before, JS's most impressive feat is to condense a 6 word phrase down to 2 syllables.

I saw a list online of Statham's upcoming ballistics-enabled tours through various professions, and knew that it was fake because he didn't have a silencer on his gun for The Librarian.

"If you’ve seen one Jason Statham movie, you’ve seen ’em all—and I mean that as a compliment of the highest order."

The Statham remake of the Charles Bronson/Jan-Michael Vincent classic The Mechanic isn’t bad; it’s just very different from the original. I like Ben Foster a lot, but he’s no Jan-Michael Vincent. But Statham absolutely fits the cinematic ecological niche of Bronson.
A guy I used to work with consistently mispronounced his name as “Justin Stratham.” Granted, he also repeatedly threw me for a loop with “K’nau Reeves.”
