This Former Bank In Philadelphia Is Now A Beautiful Home. Take A Look Inside
Back in the late 1800s, when it was built, this red brick building was Philadelphia's Tacony Saving Fund Safe Deposit & Title Company. Today, the former bank is a huge, luxury residence listed for $1.1 million.
The home spans a whopping 9,300 square feet across three levels โ and with high ceilings, steel beams, hardwood floors and an abundance of natural light, it feels both industrial and warm.
Just off from the loft-like main living space is the kitchen, where the old blends with the new.
The home has three bedrooms, including one that flows into the second floor's gigantic open space. The room once housed the Jack Costello Boxing Club, but there's the potential (and square footage) for it to serve as pretty much anything you can think up.
On floor three, we find a music studio and a live room that's fit for rehearsals and performances alike, as well as a guest suite featuring a kitchenette, bedroom, office and bathroom.
Finally, if all the indoor amenities weren't enough, there's also a charming little patio area with plenty of plants โ and space for you to grow more of your own.
