Great advise, and once the powers that be know everyone is getting in on the gig, well they will simply change the rules so that once again the "lessor" among us pay the price.

I wish that were true. Reducing all kinds of tax burdens through trusts has been possible for as long as trusts have existed and at this point are so ingrained and normalized I don't even think the powers at be view it as a loophole.
There is very little incentive for politicians to spend political capital on closing loopholes - because they get a ton of flack from people effected negatively and almost no kudos.
