4. Trump behind glass

The Meme

After almost being assassinated back in July, Donald Trump is set to continue doing outdoor rallies for his 2024 presidential campaign — and the secret service has decided to encase Trump in a bulletproof glass case, protecting him from any more bullets or even people throwing shoes. An image of him behind glass has since spawned the obvious jokes one would expect, including being a burrito in a microwave, an animal at the zoo, and so on.

It's not the meanest stuff people online have said about Trump, that's for sure! But it's a very funny photo; him looking forlorn as rain hits the glass (just know that image going around is actually from 2019).

3. Steve Kerr

The Meme

Steve Kerr, coach of both the Golden State Warriors and the gold-winning 2024 US Olympic basketball team, gave a speech in support of Kamala Harris during the first night of the DNC.

At the end of his energetic speech, he brought in Steph Curry's infamous "Night, Night" meme in reference to Donald Trump's potential defeat in November. The crowd went wild.

The Meme

Last week, X user James Hawkins shared a tweet that started off sounding like an "inspirational" LinkedIn post. "Nobody will remember: your salary, how 'busy you were,' how many hours you worked," he began.

It's the silliness of the second half, however — listing the things people definitely will remember about you — that garnered tens of thousands of likes, and sparked a whole bunch of copycat tweets.
