3. Musk's weird jumping

The Meme

Elon Musk went "Dark MAGA" on Saturday and appeared with Donald Trump at the former president's Pennsylvania rally in Butler. He repeated the same scaremongering lines he's been spewing online, and his shirt had "occupy Mars" printed on it. While nothing that Musk said was particularly newsworthy, folks were weirded out by the few jumps he took on stage, as well as the face he made while greeting Trump.

2. Yelling rock hyrax

The Meme

If you don't already know, rock hyraxes are goofy-looking large rodents that tend to have cute vampire-like fangs and scream like the dickens.

People on TikTok picked up on a particular clip where a rock hyrax sounds like it's yelling "MAMA!" at the top of its lungs, and that quickly got applied to situations where people are screaming for their mothers. That then transformed into screaming in general, and now we've heard that little guy holler more times than there are atoms in the universe.

On the weekend, X user @jzux posted that October 5th was "national enemy day," and encouraged everyone to share their most hated nemeses. Unsurprisingly, that prompt led to some very creative interpretations. For me, the answer is the popular website X.com.
