Wow! That's really cool. The whole website of this guy is a treasure chest... poking around, I just learned that there's an "ABC" notation for sheet music. Neat!

My kid got a paper marbling kit a couple of years ago and we had fun with that for a while. I thought this was going to be someone making interesting patterns on paper using mathematical techniques but a program that generates images is pretty cool too.

As someone who loves math and marbling paper, this is my jam. Totally got sucked into the virtual jigsaw puzzles featuring mathematical marbling.

Aubrey has studied with my own wonderful marbling teachers, Daniel and Regina St. John (IG), who live in Amherst, Mass. Dan is an eccentric genius polymath and Regina is one of the finest living marblers and probably the most sought-after instructor in marbling circles. They are also delightful people who are committed to continue the craft and are excited by projects like these that introduce it to people in new ways.

Their work is now part of the collection at the Metropolitan Museum of Art after a significant exhibit last year.

This somewhat reminds me of my old days playing around with the POVRay raytracer making simulated marble and granite textures. This just takes it to the next level.
