Mystery Science Theater 3000: KTMA episode 21 LEGEND OF THE DINOSAURS  Season 1, Episode 34

MST Club presents... and it's been a while since we've done this! We've avoided doing the KTMA episodes, the nebulous "Season Zero" of MST3K, because some of them are sincerely tough going. But going by the idea that the last episodes of the season will probably be the ones with the best writing, we figured we might try a few of them. This one is the last episode of the season, putting the series closest to the form it would be in when it was unleashed upon an unsuspecting Comedy Channel. Because Fanfare doesn't support a "Season 0," I'm numbering KTMA episodes going from the end of Season 1, making this episode 34: 13 + 21. LEGEND OF THE DINOSAURS (a.k.a. Legend of the Dinosaurs & Monster Birds) is a Japanese movie brought to the US by Sandy Frank's distribution company, like the Gamera movies, Time of the Apes, Fugitive Alien & II, and Mighty Jack. It turns out dinosaurs lurk near Mt. Fuji, and they're hungry! In an ice cave their eggs are hatching, which is probably bad news I dunno.
