Most Of The World's Tallest Countries Belong To This Continent
Using data from NCD Risk Factor Collaboration, Visual Capitalist mapped the 20 world countries based on their average heights. (And just for context, the average height for a human globally is five feet four inches)
The tallest country in the world is the Netherlands, where the average heights for men and women are six feet and 5 feet 7.1 inches, respectively.
Montenegro follows closely behind, with men averaging six feet and women averaging 5 feet 6.9 inches.
Nineteen of the world's top 20 countries for height belong to Europe; the only non-European country on the list is Dominica, in the Caribbean.
