Defense lawyers made the allegations in a Friday court filing, arguing to dismiss the federal indictment against Mangione or the government's notice of intent to seek the death penalty.
"No reasonable consumer would purchase Defendant’s shoes — or pay as much for them as they did — knowing each step creates an audible and noticeable squeak," the lawsuit states.
