With age, if your energy levels sink and your joints start aching, it can sometimes feel like your best days are behind you. But, that doesn't have to be true. As long as you're breathing, you still have the capacity to create something better than anything you ever did as a 20-something.

Redditor u/Dragava asked the r/Movies subreddit for examples of directors who got better with age, and we found this topic inspiring. As such, we dove through the responses with gusto to help bolster ourselves as the sagging sets in.
