3. Montoya

The Meme

I'm envious if you're unaware of who Montoya is, or what's happened to him over the course of the past week. On a Spanish reality show called "La Isla de las Tentaciones" ("Temptation Island,") where couples are split into separate camps and are tempted to cheat, Josรฉ carlos Montoya fell to his knees after seeing footage of his partner, Anita Williams, in bed with another man.

The moment was understandably too much for Montoya to handle, who broke character, and the rules, by running to Anita to confront her. His actions gave birth to the phrase, "ยกMontoya, por favor!", which is now firmly in the internet's lexicon.

The Meme

The memes we feature are often reliant on current events or some context from a highly-specific subculture, but it's nice sometimes to keep it simple, sweetie. This meme is just a series of quote posts on Bluesky in which people show off some of their favorite vehicles from TV and movies.

1. Kendrick at the Super Bowl

The Meme

During the halftime show at the 2025 Super Bowl on Sunday, Kendrick Lamar performed "Not Like Us," his popular diss track that accuses fellow rapper Drake of, among other things, pedophilia and sexual misconduct.

In a now-viral moment, Lamar looks directly at the camera and grins as he says the line: "Say, Drake, I hear you like 'em young. You better not ever go to cell block one."
