A STORM IS BREWING
Trump's Racist Pseudoscience Exposed, Harris Fights With DeSantis Over Hurricane Relief And More Election Updates
We're now just four weeks away from election day, so we're running out of runway for political nonsense that will impact the election. That won't slow down the barrage of wild news though.
Harris proposes a Medicare expansion that would change lives
Democratic presidential nominee Kamala Harris on Tuesday will propose a major new initiative: expanding Medicare to cover the cost of long-term care at home.
Such a plan could mean the option of staying at home, rather than in a nursing facility, for the millions of seniors and people with disabilities who need help with the daily tasks of life.

A political storm over a literal life-threatening storm
Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis and Vice President Kamala Harris accused each other of playing "political games" over reports that he wouldn't take the Democratic presidential candidate's calls on Hurricane Helene, which he denies.
The state is now staring down the threat of the "extremely dangerous" Hurricane Milton this week as officials respond to the aftermath of Helene, which struck nearly two weeks ago.

Trump's awful, racist pseudoscience
During an interview with the right-wing radio host Hugh Hewitt, he danced around suggesting that migrants coming across the southern border are genetically inferior. "When you look at the things that [Vice President Kamala Harris] proposes, they're so far off, she has no clue," Trump told Hewitt. "How about allowing people to come to an open border, 13,000 of which were murderers? Many of them murdered far more than one person, and they're now happily living in the United States. You know, now a murderer β I believe this β it's in their genes. And we got a lot of bad genes in our country right now."
